O-RINGS AND INDUSTRIAL O- RINGS ACCESSORIES
American & Metric O-RINGS in a wide range of materials and
sizes, Size Range From: 1/32″ to 26″ I.D. O-Rings and Industrial O-Rings
Accessories: Measuring Cone & Tape, Sizing Charts, Lubricants, Picks.
O-Ring materials include: Nitrile, Buna-N, Viton® , FKM , Aflas®, Silicone,
PTFE, molded PTFE o-rings, FEP encapsulated FKM, EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone
o-ring, 4 Lobe Q-Rings, E.P.R, Kalrez.
Aflas®
material is an elastomeric based fluororubber, a copolymer of
tetrafluoroethylene and propylene. This elastomer offers excellent chemical
resistance qualities, with serviceability in the temperatures up to 550 degrees
F depending on environment. Services where Aflas might be applicable include
inorganic acids, alkalis, high temperature steam, polar solvents, organic
bases, hydrocarbon oils, amines and amine corrosion inhibitor systems, and
hydrogen sulfide bearing fluids.
O-Rings Properties:
Excellent
heat resistance with continuous service temperature capability of 450°F,
chemical resistance including resistance to strong acids and bases, high
electrical resistivity, excellent oil resistance. Aflas® is a copolymer of TFE
and Propolene, an elastomeric based fluororubber.
O-Rings Temperature Range:
-25 F to
+450 F+

Buna O-Rings
An O-ring
is a solid-rubber seal shaped like a doughnut or torus. When compressed between
mating surfaces, O-ring blocks the passage of liquids or gases. O-rings are
available in a wide range of standard and custom sizes that are suitable for
nearly all sealing applications.
We, at
AS&P focus on long-term relationships based on trust, honesty, and
communication. Whether you need specialized custom O-Ring seals or
off-the-shelf standard O-Ring seals, we have them all at great prices.
Buna
O-Rings Description
Buna
O-Rings also referred to as NBR O-Rings and Nitrile
O-Rings are the most widely used O-Ring materials in
the world because of its low cost & good mechanical performance along with
excellent resistance to water, most basic oils, lubricants, and some fuels. Its
versatility makes it an ideal material for O-Rings, seals, gaskets, and custom
molded components for all industries and applications. Buna O-Rings are not
recommended for exposure to sunlight, UV light, ozone and general outdoor
weathering or harsh chemicals, acids, ketones, and many others.
Nitrile
is unique among synthetic rubbers in that it is generally resistant to
chemicals such as oil and fuel, among other substances such as mineral and
vegetable oils, diluted acids, and alkaline substances. Buna-Nitrile is less
likely to cause allergic reactions than latex or natural rubber materials,
making it popular for medical and dental applications. Nitrile also exhibits
greater strength and puncture resistance than latex and natural rubber.
EPDM O-RINGS DESCRIPTION:
An O-ring is
also known as a packing or toric joint and is a mechanical gasket shaped like a
doughnut. When compressed between connecting surfaces, O-ring blocks the entry
and exit of liquids or gases. EPDM O-rings are a family of synthetic elastomers
that offer low-cost steam and chemical resistance, particularly in areas of
applications that entail the use of solvents, acids, and other mild chemicals.
At AS&P, we have a wide variety of EPDM O-rings and custom EPDM O-rings
manufactured as per your specifications. This way, we can ensure that the EPDM
o-rings that you need are always made available to you. Whether it’s for water
systems, braking systems, medical, pharmaceutical, food or dairy use, you can
rely on us to deliver high-quality O-rings to you quickly.
EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is an elastomer which is
characterized by a wide range of applications. EPDM exhibits
satisfactory compatibility with fireproof hydraulic fluids, ketones, hot and
cold water, and alkalis, and unsatisfactory compatibility with most oils,
gasoline, kerosene, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents
and concentrated acids.
O-Ring
Kits -The most common AS-568 American standard sizes are contained in this
o-ring kits. 27/ 30 / 32 different sizes, a total of 364/ 371 / 396 pcs. Kits
are availble in Buna-N (Nitrle), Fluorolastomer (FKM), and Silicone.
